A Long Way From Everywhere… Almost
My computer tells me I am 178 miles from Kingstree from where I am sitting in Kings Mountain, NC. I usually take the scenic route so you can add a few miles to it that is if I do not get lost. Sometimes the journey seems much longer. Right now, I feel there is no way, 178 separates us. I have received texts, emails, calls and notes. I am grateful for them all. What has overwhelmed me is the prayers offered on our behalf. For I am convinced that prayers are “intangible actions that produce tangible results.”
My body, though old and decrepit, feels your prayers…tangibly. My spirit, alive and kicking, is empowered by your intangible prayers. This is not a theology lesson. This is a life lesson. I am thankful that my life has intersected with yours. Keep praying for me and I’ll keep praying for you… deal?
