Do you remember Kool and the Gang? They were popular when I was in preschool, I mean college. Their biggest hit was “Celebration” released in 1980. Sunday afternoon, after the Session approved beginning Mom’s Morning Out at WPC, I wanted to break out singing that song.

A celebration to last throughout the years
So bring your good times and your laughter too
We gonna celebrate your party with you!
Beginning February 2, the halls at WPC will once again be filled with laughter and music. We can never replace the ministry of Ms. Judy, Ms. Judy, Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Rose Marie. We can build upon their foundation. In fact, Judy Hall is coming back to be our fearless leader. She will be assisted by Carmela Jacobs. We will start small, about a dozen children on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-12. Children from our church can register first. MMO will end in May, at which time we will evaluate our plans for next year.
Many thanks to an energetic, creative group of Paige Brown, Elissa Swicord, and Eva Ruth. Thank them when you see them. The officers of the church are excited. The Christian Education Committee is excited. So is the Evangelism and Service Committee, as this is a ministry of our church. Finally, so are some parents in our community. So, let’s celebrate and let’s pray.
Williamsburg Moms Morning Out will meet each Monday and Wednesday, from 9:00 am until 12:00pm. At this point we are targeting ages twos (by September 1, 2025), threes and any four years olds who may not be at another school. There are registration forms in the church office.
