Who Still Has a Piggy Bank?
If you don’t have a clue what I’m talking about- a piggy bank is: “A container for saving money in, especially one shaped like a pig, with a slit in the top through which coins are dropped.” For the first time in my adult life, I don’t have one because I have no change. I normally use a card or if I use cash, I find a tip jar to dump my change in. If you remember, the country almost ran out of coins during COVID. A McDonald’s down the street from us would give you a biscuit if you brought in enough change. I say all this to remind you to bring you wallet and your piggy bank this Sunday as we celebrate “Coins for Christmas. It is a long tradition, and this Christmas we plan on helping families in need once again. I look forward to hearing coins being put in the bucket and the sound of bills being folded up.
